Do you remember the pizza truck that would come around at night? How about folk music at the Art Museum? Stopping at Pete's on 24th Street on the way home from school to buy candy? Martha's at Taylor and Brown Street for the towering scoops of ice cream? Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve was always packed, especially in the back? The May Procession, when the entire school paraded up and down the streets near school? or Howdy Doodie's at Maxine's? (Ice cream cone, with jimmies, whip cream and a cherry), Young's Candy on Girard Avenue (which closed just last year), Henry Batistelli who owed Terry's Kitchen(and was the nicest guy around. He quietly helped a lot of neighborhood people)?

For those who are bad mouthing eddie specht, you have no idea what that kid has been through in his life. He may not be the best looking or smartest tool in the shed but if you needed a hand he would be there for you in a minute, so for the person who thinks looks are everything, look in a mirror. eddie has no trouble sleeping at night do you? Why is it that people pick on those who struggle in life? Give the guy a break.

The triangle was at 23rd to 25th & Pennsylvania. SFX CYO football practiced there. Now they have some orange iron thing on it that someone considers art.
