Heard there was another shooting in Fairmount on Wednesday night @ Judson & Parrish. Any truth to that. Also heard that the person shot is a relation to Rob Pierson. The cops were flying up & down one way streets last night also. Wonder how the yuppiers will like the neighborhood now.

You sound like a fired employee of the Loonstyn family. This family has also worked hard all of their lives. These guys are also workers. They work hard, take good care of their families, pay the taxes, support their schools, they also help their fellow man in time of trouble, they always have. I think you have your information short coming, cause we all know the truth!!! God Bless the Loonstyns and their families also!!

The Gravleys worked hard for what they got...as for the Loonstyns...they got webacks doing the work for them...and I am not talking about Mr. Loonstyn, I am talking about the boys! So don't put them up on a pedalstool, because they are the ones who are handing the neighborhood over, and throwing the old Fairmounters out all for a dollar.

right.i don't think anyone from the neighborhood will argue that the Gravley's are a hard working family and earned every penny---"Sad Time" person was just trying to change the discussion that was or wasn't going on at the time

I see someone pointing their finger at the Gravley Family for destroying Fairmount, what a joke! The Gravleys worked hard is right...they worked for everything they got and they were smart and got out, now take the Loonstyns..okay they have businesses in the neighborhood, but they are the ones who are chasing people out...they buy the properties off the old people or the people who cant afford to stay....and they dont even offer great prices...just enough to get them out and then they gut the place ...and get the illegal workers to put it back together half ass....and then they suck a yuppie in to buy the property for an outrageous amount of money....know years down the road the house is going to crumble...but they made their buck on some sucker and that is all that counts...they pay their illegal workers with drugs...but yet people tell you how great the loonstyn family is, i am not talking about the parents. i like the news story of gene yannelli and his 3million dollars of pot he was growing in his home on 22nd street....and yet people have the nerve to point their finger at total strangers they call yuppies and a family who has worked hard to get where they are today...and I am not talking about the loonstyns, I am talking about the Gravleys.

i don't think that person was disputing that the Gravely's worked hard for there money,i just think they wanted someone to change the subject and start some other things to talk about--anyone from the neighborhood knows the Gravely's and there Father would even sell Christmas Tress on Girard Avenue back in the day to make an extra buck--so as far as them working hard all there lives, goes without question.
